the worst and most expensive I have ever eaten 2/27/2011

This is hands down the worst pizza ever. Generic canned toppings/no sauce/bland crust and cheap flavorless cheese. I guess it would be good if compared to old domino's pizza from a dumpster. more

Great place for birthday parties 4/26/2010

We just had my son's 5th birthday party here, and actually had his 4th birthday party here too....and it was so affordable, convenient and fun. The staff decorated for us and did a beautiful job. I couldn't have done better myself. All food was served on time and everyone was super friendly with a great attitude. I highly recommend Pietro's pizza for a birthday party....oh yeah....the pizza is great too! Pros: Great Service, Great Food, Affordable and Fun more

My Favorite Pizza 1/22/2009

this is my favorite pizza of all time. They also have a pretty good salad bar. They have big rooms for groups to gather for pizza and have added some things for kids to do. more

Good Old Fashioned Pizza Joint 10/28/2008

I've been going to Pietro's since I was in high school in the 80's. Their pizza has consistantly been good. It's a fun place to go for the whole family. more

Best Thin Crust Pizza in Oregon 6/24/2008

The thin crust pizza is the best I've had. I particularly like the way the tomato sauce is spread to the edge, the ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is what I expect for a pizza parlor. Try the taco pizza for a unique yet surprisingly delicious pizza. Pros: Best thin crust pizza around Cons: Loud game center more

pietros service 4/30/2008

I am a cook at pietros and I know that on a weekend we don't have the fastest service but we're working hard. And on behalf of everyone we are deeply sorry if you've dealt with one of our workers when their having a bad day. We all have them there and we are only human and most of us are under the age of 21 and is our first job. We try to give you fast service and a good time so please cut us some slack and yes the price for our pizza is a little extreme but that's what the cost is and we have no say about it. And at that job even as a cook where I am away from everyone else I still get yelled at by customers all the time because one of the new employees made a mistake. If I had a dollar for everytime I'd be a rich woman by now. So understand that the job is hectic and bear with us. more

Great Pizza ... Great Salad Bar 3/10/2008

We come to Pietro's often for birthday parties. We like their pizza because it is not ""gut bombish"", rather it is a light pizza because of the very thin crust. The salad bar is excellent and we also enjoy the red wine. We probably spend more money on the games than the pizza because the kids love getting tickets from the games and turning them in for prizes. I am sure when the kids, aged 3 months to 14 grow up, they will have many fond memories of birthday parties with our large extended family group of 16 at Pietro's. The place has really become a landmark in Milwaukee, and there are lots of sports teams and car collector clubs that hold their meetings and banquets at Pietro's because of the large facility. more

30 years of Great Pizza .. Best Crust in Portland Area 11/12/2007

We have been holding family birthday parties at Pietro's for over 30 years, we now celebrate our grandkids birthdays at Pietro's. We love the thin crust and the kids love the pizza and the game room. Great place to watch a game on TV also. Pros: Great Crust and Fun Game Room Cons: None... Have been enjoying Pietro's for 30 years more

Perfect Pepperoni 11/1/2007

I have been eating pizza here for over 30 years and without any shadow of doubt the pepperoni is the best. Actually i usualy get a triple Pepperoni ( you cannot see the cheese). Pros: Pizza thats just plain great. Cons: Loud kids and a loud play area. more

Kids love it 9/13/2007

The pizza here is good. They use cornmeal on the bottom of the crust and it reminds us of pizza we had growing up. The kids love to use the tokens to play games and will drive you wild getting tickets to redeem for JUNK !! more

Family FUN!! 9/13/2007

This a fun, energetic place to have a pizza. Don't plan on sitting and relaxing while eating however, kids will be having to much fun at the Galaxy of Games. Great place to go to wear out kids on a cold rainy day. more

Best pizza available 6/14/2007

kvansblue is absolutely delusional! Pietro's has always had the best pizza in the Pacific Northwest. If you enjoy Domino's or Pizza Hut junk, than maybe you won't enjoy pizza with flavor. The only cons about Pietro's are the high prices, loud obnoxious kids screaming and bouncing off the walls and the loud game section with some high pitched whistle. I can hear the tune in my head and it haunts me but this is a small, or in my case, big price to pay for the best pizza out there. Try to go as late as possible if you want to avoid the mad house. They close at 11pm most of the time. Pros: The best pizza! Salad bar Cons: The kids people bring and left unattended, game room, sometimes the workers ignore people on purpose more

the worst pizza I,ve ever eaten in my whole life, I won't be going back! 6/4/2007

I usually don't complain about stuff like this, but this was really bad! If anyone should ask what I thought of the food, I will say that I would not reccomend eating there. Pros: the lady at the counter was very nice, and attentive Cons: the pizza was sad!! more

Mmmmmmmm, Pietro's.... ughghghghghgh (insert Homer Simpson drooling noise here). 9/13/2006

I love this pizza. I guess you are always partial to ""your"" pizza place from when you grew up. For me and my friends it was Pietro's on West 11th in Eugene. We had Abby's, we had Papa's, and I guess there were others I didn't care to know about... but no one had that bubbly-chewy pizza crust with the crispy bottom. (Mouth is watering now... must... order... pizza) Pros: The Bubbly-Chewy pizza crust. The Hawaiian Pizza. Cons: Pietro's is an Endangered Spieces; only three left in Oregon. Also, this review form removes your paragraph breaks when you submit. That is a huge con. more

Great atmosphere and service 9/13/2006

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for dinner and we enjoyed a great meal with quick and good service. The place had a great feel, was clean, had great pizza and at reasonable prices. I am not sure why the previous reviewer had issues. We did not experience anything of the sort. Perhaps the reviewer was looking for Chez' Pietro's? We dine out quite a bit and I have noticed that people these days mix up the term service. Some expect servants when prompt courteous service is what should be expected. Service people like to serve pleasant people not rude, impatient people. Ok...off my soapbox but, be real, if snooty service is what the norm is than we missed it completely as we did not experience it. I love the pizza.brings back memories when my buds in high school would fight over the slices as we were trying to share a large between the four of us. more

major tude! 9/11/2006

the food is ok. over priced for what it is. and let alone, we should be getting paid or getting a deal for the attitude you have to deal with when ordering from these people. i have called in orders about 3 times with in 6 months. everytime i get a person with serious attitude. sorry but its service that counts and what brings people in and keeps them there. i dont even want to order from there any more. ive given it 3 chances already. everytime the same thing but different person. is there a rude person qualification desire there or what? dont ask what the toppings are, they will snuff and huff and then run over them so fast you cant even tell what they are saying. geez! i didnt know it was so hard. and ive been in the pizza buisness for years as when younger and the restuarnt feild for my life time. this is not what service should be at any place. Cons: service...by all means more

Really Bad Service 8/21/2006

We went there as a Family so that our daughter could enjoy the kids games. With each win you get more tickets which you use to buy prizes. My daughter wanted a toy that was displayed but was told they were out. The person behind the counter said the manager told him they were out. When I asked her about it she displayed a poor attitude and stormed off. She returned a few minutes later with several of the toy in question and slammed one on the counter in front of my girl. It will be a long time before we go back. Oh be careful in the mens room, the floor is coming apart and you don't want to trip on the wet rough tile or the paper towels that are strewn all over the floor. Pros: Better then frozen pizza Cons: Bad service rude staff more

Yummmmmmmmmy 4/9/2006

Awesome pizza, awesome setting, just like my childhood, popular restaurant in my hometown until they closed up shop - so having one nearby now is great! Pros: Great Price, Great Pizza, Great Staff Cons: Not a SINGLE one more

Best Pizza in Town 3/8/2006

Takes me back to childhood. I went here with my family as a child and now take my kids here. Love the pizza best of all. I go out of my way for Pietro's. I enjoy the newly remodeled building. My kids have a lot of fun in the playroom. Pros: Best pizza, Fun more

I remember the old red and gold wall paper and victorian furniture it was a great place. they removed all of the period furnishings and wall paper and have painted the walls with bright yellow red green and orange, the nastalgia is gone. pizza was not all that great. it was better about 15 yrs. ago. it was a very romantic place till all the changes Cons: too noisy more
