Piedmont Medical Assoc Pa

I don't have insurance...and I haven't for a while. Which was fine until my last visit. I called ahead to get a billing plan set up like a responsible person. When the visit was over I went to he check out counter and was treated with disgust by an angry office clerk. She was argumentative, disrespectful, rude, and lazy. The entire situation could had been avoided if she would have looked at the computer before she started treating me like garbage. MIND YOU I DO NOT HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE. I was over charged because I do not have insurance and could not pay the over $100 bill that day. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life and because of that I am searching for a new medical provider. Like the title says...NO INSURANCE...>DON'T GO TO Piedmont Medical!! more

I have been a patient here for almost 20 years. I don't visit often since I see my OB/GYN for an annual visit, but when I do need them, they are always there for me. They fit me in when it's urgent so that I can avoid the ER or urgent care. The appointment staff is great and so are the nurses. I usually see Joan, Dr. Carr's PA, and she is awesome. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I feel so fortunate that I found them when I first moved to Raleigh and that they still run the same business - efficient and caring as always. Cons: Not a fancy place. more

Both my husband, my mother & I are patients with Dr. Carr. We 3 are all very different and have very different on-going medical issues but have been very happy with the care provided by Dr. Carr and staff.\r \r The office is not fancy or flashy and all newly decorated but I do not judge the MD's care by the furniture! \r \r Dr. Carr is easy to talk to and offers sound opinions and advice. We 3 like him and his RN/LPN staff. Pros: easy to see MD Same Day Cons: Traffic - Busy area of Raleigh. more
