When I visited Piccolina a couple of weeks ago I was greeted by the owner with a genuine smile and a warm greeting. This was a drastic change from my previous experience that morning in a resale shop in Sellwood. She and her staff promised to review the things I had brought in to trade quickly and they did, much to my delight. I was thrilled to shop while my son played with their very cool wooden toys and when they finished with my stuff they came to me post haste. I ended up taking the trade option since they offered much more for that option then the cash-but considering I scored two gorgeous Hanna Anderson pieces, a couple other lovely sweaters and two pairs of very nice pants I was not complaining. I highly recommend this lovely boutique that offers a great selection of gently worn children's clothes. They provide access to upscale pieces without the prices or stuffy shopping experience. Piccolina is under new ownership as of about a week ago. I went there today with 5 bags of clothing. The new owner was prompt, sweet, fun, and has fabulous taste in baby clothes! The store carries only higher end brands, and will trade, consign, or pay outright with varied % for which you decide to do. If you're in the market to buy or sell high quality, clean, and fabulously priced baby, kid, or maternity wear, go check it out. Pros: Neigborhood vibe, great owner, fabulous clothes. Cons: ??
