I have gone to this restaurant many times over the years because it's convenient to my office and because they have good bread. Never again, though!! The food quality and service is extremely spotty. Sometimes a dish is good, sometime's it's not. Unfortunately there's no way to predict. I've had some amazing chicken picatta there. I've also had it come out completely flavorless and devoid of capers. And when I asked if they could add some lemon and capers and garlic to give it the usual flavor, the waiter became kind of hostile. I've had some good fettucini bolognese there, but sometimes the sauce is terrible. Tonight was my final straw with this place. After working a LONG day, I decided to pick up some of the fettucini bolognese, which when it's good is a rich hearty meat sauce. When I got home and opened the container, however, there was a cream sauce with chicken and peas. When I called the restaurant to complain, I was told that they must have mistakenly given me fettucini venenziana (sp? don't know because I've NEVER ordered this dish.) They said I needed to return the product to get a refund. I told them I didn't feel it was reasonable to expect me to shlep back out there when it was their mistake and I'm not going to be eating this pasta with cream sauce. They said I could bring it back tomorrow. When I said I would be out of the area tomorrow and it's not convenient, they said, fine bring it back the next day. I asked to speak with the owner or manager and was told that he said I could either return it or dispute the charge. I plan to dispute the charge and NEVER go back. And I don't recommend you go there unless you like poor service and inconsistent food. If you do, then this is absolutely the place for you.
Pros: Good bread
Cons: Poor service, inconsistent food, odd decor
