Cheated, Unethical, and low life market 7/10/2010

The lady at the register ripped me off. I bought all my stuffs for 50 something dollars. I have 20 something dollars change and two $100 bills so obviously i have to pay them with a $100. I gave the lady the $100 bill, she looked at it with her wide eyes opened, i thought she was checking for the mark to see if it's a counterfeit money, then she did something behind the counter in a slow motion, I thought she was getting me my changes . I ran out of patience and looked away to check out the fruit isle behind me. I heard she said $54.28, I turned around and she waves the $20 bill on her hand at me. I were like OMG, noway this is happening at phu cuong supermaket, I told her I gave her the $100 bill and asked what did she do with it in the last 5 mins? She said she was waiting for me, she thought I were still getting her the rest of my money. I said NO, I've been waiting for you, if I gave you the $20 bill in the fist place, why didn't you say something then? i checked my wallet and I only have one $100 left and 20 something dollar change. So I definitely gave her the $100 bill. I fought with them for awhile, i told them to go check their security camera, they said they have none, they told me i can come to the register to check or see if it's accidentally on the floor because the cash register drawer have not been opened so nothing came in or out of the register. I were like...I gave you the $100 bill, you waved the $20 bill at me, you think I can find my $100 bill on the floor or anywhere else near the register??? I don't think so! I told her I'm Catholic and I swore to God and to her that I gave her the $100 bill and that I double checked the $100 bill before i gave it to her. I asked her to swear to me that the single bill that she looked at with her wide eyes opened were not my $100 bill, and obviously she couldn't and didn't dare to. She called her husband, who is one of the partial owners there and another cashier over to fight for her. They all told me basically I were wrong and their cashier were right. It were late at nite, almost at the closing hours and I were tired from a hot day at the beach so I ended up paying them the other $100 bill left in my wallet. more
