Art Deco Glory 3/10/2006

First, let's talk about the building. I love the building facade. It is one of my favorites in the city. Next, the interior -- art deco that causes you first to think "hey this place hasn't had a renovation in a while" before you sit back and admire the view, thinking "this is classy in its own little way". Then, the food - fantastic. Duck, seafood, steak and a heck of a caviar menu. I did not indulge in the caviar, so I cannot comment. The 5 course tasting menus may sound decadent (and they are a bit), but you won't be too stuffed to finish your next course. This is a place where folks get dressed to dine. Thank goodness. I was beginning to think that elegant dining was a thing of the past. Cheers to Petrossian for giving the fancy ones a place to hang their hat. more
