My family and I visited this shop during a local festival. We had chicken salad and pimento cheese lunches. They were fantastic and priced right. They even have Coke in little glass bottles! What a treat! We didn't try out the desserts, but will the next time we visit! more

A local treasure 8/20/2005

The Petit Cafe is a sandwich and dessert shop located inside of Charlie McCool's pharmacy in down town. They sell several different sandwiches - but the best is the homemade chicken salad. On Friday's they serve soup. The prices are right - $2.50 for a sandwich. You can get an entire lunch there including dessert for $5.00. Don't leave without trying one of the desserts made by the local ladies around town. They have a great selection of pies, cakes and cookies - and also sell frozen yogurt. more
