If the customer is always wrong, this is the store for you! While I've been overcharged several times by the Petco at Brodie & Lamar, after calling them beforehand and being assured I'd get a refund, I stopped by my regular Petco tonight. Obviously, I couldn't read the one sign that didn't exactly specify that I only got free treats if I bought the ""Duck & potatoes"" food. The two associates were rude, laughed at me, refused to refund my money without the treats (the treats were supposed to be free, so why would I return them?). One tried to walk off with my receipt. When I grabbed it out of his hands, he said he wouldn't talk to me if I was going to be rude. Oh really??? Sarcasm dripped from the short boy's voice, ""have a nice day."" Hey, you too -- while you still have a place to work. Even if I hadn't found out Petco has allegedly been storing food in a warehouse with both bird and rodent infestations, I would never shop there again. With deceptive sales policies (two other people in line with me when I bought the food were told ""oh, those signs are old"") and associates who are certain it is the customer who is wrong, no wonder the company is plunging towards it's destiny. One day this will all be a dusty, musty, smelly memory.
Pros: Natural Balance dog food
Cons: Poor customer service, deceptive and old sales signs
