Bad customer service and bad store policies
Without any question a young teenager sold me a chinchilla without any advice on what we were getting into.Luckily I had done my research. I purchased a chinchilla,cage,food,water bottle,chew toys ect..My bill came to $350.50. I had done this at 6:30pm.As I was setting everything up at home my 3 year old started having major allergy symptoms to our new pet. I had to quarantine our chinchilla in a seperate room overnight.In the morning,8:45 a.m. I called the pet store and explained what had happened. They said I could bring the chinchilla back to the store but I couldnt recieve a refund.I packed everything up and brought it to the store within a half hour. They gave me $150.00 in store credit.I couldnt believe that the items i could return,bathing dust,food ect. they wouldnt even refund to me.The cage,which was $115.00 was mostly plastic and horrible quality ,they wouldnt return either because i had put the chinchilla in it.I do understand that they cant resell it once I had put an animal in it but mind you when I got the cage home I had to clean out a bunch of animal debris.I could swear it had previously been used before I bought it! Also the lady who delt with me wouldnt even call a manager.I was very polite and she was rude. She grabbed the chinchilla out of the cage harshly and had no where to even put it! Awful,awful awful experience! Never again! I would give this business no stars.They took my money!
