Editorial review from Citysearch 7/4/2013

I am posting this on every review site I can find because our experience was sickening. This place is absolutely horrible and the vets are shoddy at best. Our lab needed an emergency C-Section. The vet did his job but neglected to tell us that he left a placenta inside of her. If she had not passed the placenta, she would have died. That is negligence. When we called to ask about it he just said, ""Yeah, I wish I would have told you about that."" You think?! By the time she would have gotten sick, it would have been too late.\r \r In the middle of the night one of the puppies needed brought in. PETS was our only option. They looked him over and gave him fluid and said we needed to tube feed him every three hours. Fine. Except for today he was still failing and we went back to PETS (holiday, no other choice), and they said, oh yeah. He has a secondary clef palate. Only the worst of vets would not have noticed that the last time. How could they have missed a giant hole in the roof of his mouth? So we were charged for another visit, even though the woman ringing us up said, ""If you had seen the same vet as yesterday, he probably wouldn't have charged you..... But you saw someone else, so we have to charge you."" Sorry, we don't make the schedule, and it was an incompetent vet who didn't inform us of the real problem, thus FORCING us to come back the next day.\r \r After spending over $3000 in forty eight hours at the vets, our expenses were exhausted, but we were 15 dollars short. The treatment we received was horrible. We felt like criminals. I understand that this is a business, but even at the emergency C-Section we were told that if we didn't have the full amount, we would be asked to leave. Animals do not come first at this establishment. Money does. And that wouldn't be a problem if the care were at least mediocre, but it's not. more
