The last time I went into this pet store, it was to kill some time with my toddler, who loves animals. I was also watching him to see what animal he was interested in most and whether or not it would make a good pet for us. Walking up to the door, I hit a wall of stench. It smelled like animal feces. Dog, to be exact. My son had ran in a few steps ahead of me, so I pulled my tee over my nose and headed in. This place is very big and they have lots of animals and supplies, but its not worth it. The employees were totally preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves. There are multiple pens with puppies in them that you can pet...that is where the smell was coming from. There was poop in almost every pen, the puppies were stepping in it and the employees did nothing about it. They also have pens filled with rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters and birds. They have a section of fish, with most of them floating dead. And then they have the tiny enclosed stalls with puppies loaded in there...its just sad. I wish I could have taken all the puppies home. I cant believe there isn't some law that they are breaking with the conditions some of these animals were in.
