We decided to go to the Kingfisher because it was near our condo and it was Tuesday, the night of the Shelter Cove fireworks. Parking in all of Shelter Cove was being monitored by policeman, so we decided to chose a place we could walk to. We got there just about 5:45 and discovered they had several early bird specials that went until 6 pm. I decided on the pecan crusted salmon, and my husband chose shrimp. The entree included a salad and delicious rolls. Both the meals were very good. Since mine was from the early bird menu, it included pecan pie - which I shared. The setting is very nice, right by the boat docks, with the marsh in the background. It's a "white tablecloth" kind of a place. It was one of my favorite meals. It's located next to a little shopping center, so when we finished, we looked through the shops. They also have an amphitheater and had a fellow doing a show there. We watched for a while then walked back to our condo because the fireworks were right in front of our place. It was a pleasant evening.
