My first step Into Pedrini The music Merchant was a wonderful expierance to say the least. !!! more

I wanted to learn more about electronic drums, particularly the possibility of purchasing electronic tympani. The sales associate who answered my call acknowledged that the store did not carry the item that I wanted, but she was willing to listen to why I was looking for the item. When I asked for contact information to call the store's percussion vendor, I could overhear the sales associate ask her colleagues about how to find a product similar to what I wanted. She then offered to call the percussion vendor herself, got my name and phone number, and promised to call me back with more information. Every NAMM music store should have sales associates like this! more

I know this place received some bad reviews, but to be honest when I was there I have an idea as to the type of customer might be making these comments. They know the instruments, they know what you need, they know value, and this place is not a playground. Its a business that knows its product, and they are Italian. They know who are buying customers and who are just browsing. Pedrini's has been around for awhile and this is why. They get repeat customers and by word of mouth. I had a friend recommend them and glad they did. Their prices are market and they make a point to tell you what you are buying and the value in it. I recommend them if you are serious about buying/renting an instrument. more

I have been doing business with Pedrini for over 25 years. I am a piano teacher and I send all of my students to the store to buy their music. They have a vast, up-to-date music supply and I can be assured that the music will be there for my students. Selections are easier for Certificate of Merit (a MTAC program) because they have notated levels of several selectiions. I am thankful Pedrini is in our neighborhood. more

This place is not a pleasant place to shop. My daughter and I went here to browse some instruments since it was the closest store. It was a mistake as the selection was horrible. The sales woman was also incredibly pushy and rude to us. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. Next time we'll just drive the extra couple miles to a more courteous music store. Bottom line: it's a music store with very poor service, poor selection, and high prices. more

Brought my son here. The sales staff is extremely poor. My son was yelled at for looking at some of hte instruments. Their prices are also about 50% more expensive than other stores. don't bother. more

Don't go here. I was there for sheet music but browsed the intsruments. I felt like I was being watched the entire time in the store.One woman clerkin particular was staring at me.It's not worth it. Dont bother getting a asking a question. Horrible Service. horrilbe atmosphere. more

I use to shop at this store regularly since i started playing 20 years ago. However, i must share this story to prevent others from being cheated. My Mom and Wife purchased a $200 ukulele from this place for Christmas. When i opened the gift, there was a complete crack in the wood of the headstock. Apparently, during the purchase, the old sales woman would not let my mom or my wife inspect the instrument thoroughly but rushed them through the purchase, repeatedly placing the instrument back into the case whenever they wanted to take a closer look. She sold the instrument to them by quickly placing the instrument into the box before transacting the sale. 3 days later (closed on Day after Xmas and Monday), when they tried to exchange it, the old sales woman claimed that we broke it and that all sales were final. This sales woman cheated her way to a sale of a broken instrument knowing that her policy would protect her. Do not purchase from this company. more

I love shopping at Pedrini's! It's so great to be able to go to neighborhood store and browse sheet music, enjoying the hands-on search in a way that's not possible by shopping online. For piano methodology books, this store is a treasure trove for a piano teacher like me. Pros: Vast sheet music selection+instruments & fun music trinkets more
