Pebblecreek brings out the confidence and independence in our children we’d hoped it would. Our kindergarten daughter happily walks our toddler daughter to her classroom every day...

It depends on which teacher your child gets. At the elementary level, one teacher doesn?t teach concepts very well, and contradicts not only the Montessori way but also common sen...

too expensive, closed too often 2/25/2009

While I have no issues with my child's education at Pebblecreek, I am very frustrated by the cost of tuition (higher than virtually all other Montessori schools in the area--I have not found one that is more expensive yet)--and worse is the fact that Pebblecreek is closed so many days. The worst is Christmas: while my spouse and I have to work most days (which is a lot of the reason our child is in school in the first place), Pebblecreek closes for a solid two weeks. We are forced to take vacation days, take our child to work, and lean on the grandparents for help. Pros: Good quality education Cons: too expensive; teachers are not treated well by management. more

Excellent school & AMAZING Teachers 2/25/2009

I have two children going to Pebblecreek. My older son started about 2 years ago and my younger one about 2 months ago. Both of them have thrived at Pebblecreek. As a parent, there is no greater joy than seeing one's child happy, learning, interacting and growing. I feel a lot of credit for this goes to the teachers at Pebblecreek. They let each child learn and grow at their own pace and are responsive to both parent and child. more

Montessori at its best 2/25/2009

Pebblecreek Montessori is truly the finest montessori school in Dallas. We found the school from friends of ours who had sent their children to Pebblecreek for pre-K and had deeply regretted sending their kids to public school for elementary thereafter. The school's leadership, resources, collective knowledge and most importantly - the care for their children is outstanding. Their focus on "children first" is not just talk - it is real. It is discouraging to see disparaging remarks about the school and especially the teachers who are truly dedicated to the growth and development of their students as we have seen for our child. I highly recommend Pebblecreek to any parent who wants the finest in education for their child. more

Not Recommended 2/13/2009

There is no much difference in education level in public schools Vs Pebbel creek. You loose money and it is waste of joining in Pebbel creek. I will not recommend any parent to go for this school. more

Try your luck 1/28/2009

Regardless of the certifications and degrees, some teachers at the school seem to have insufficient discipline as a educator, have low integrity, and don?t do their job. In those cases, you can easily get much better teachers in a public school who will nurture your child as a human being, build their self-esteem as well as a sound academic foundation. In addition, it is difficult, or impossible, to get any problem solved honestly and constructively. The school welcomes people who would blindly believe in them, and classify those rising issues as being troublesome. If you question the quality in the classroom, knowing the school?s position, the teachers who do a horrible job teaching your kids will throw a fit at you from now on. As of your problem? It was YOUR problem to start with and it will always be. It will never be solved for real. There is no such a thing. Pros: Encourages figurative thinking. Cons: Teachers can be of low quality. Won't do what is promised. Hard to solve any problem. Tons of self-promotion. more

Excellent School 4/26/2008

Our child has gone to Pebblecreek since he was a toddler, and he has thrived there. The teacher guides are tremendous. As a whole, the school faithfully follows the philosophy of Maria Montessori. With Pebblecreek, you get what you pay for. It is not cheap, but it remains a good value. If you think the owners of the shool are in it for the money, you are delusional. Running a private Motessori school is the last thing a smart business person would do for a quick buck. The owners of Pebblecreek are motivated by the desire to provide an environment where children will grow and learn. I challenge others who review the school to offer constructive comments -- good and bad, not speculative and bitter attacks about the motivations of the school's administrators. Pros: Quality of staff Cons: Could have a better website more

Beware 4/10/2008

This school is all about self promotion and money. If circumstances cause you to enroll then have to withdraw well before school starts then forget about getting your money back. If they oops, overcharge you for enrollment, forget about getting your credit back. If you disagree with them then they will have their attorney threaten you (the attorney happens to be married to the director). They have teachers and staff write favorable reviews. Enter at your own risk. more

Not as good as they said they are....Business and money first! 1/16/2008

We did our homework before enroll our child to this school. However, after we start the school, the school undergo major management restructure. It seems like many teacher left, they shuffle around the teachers, they changed their uniforms (after we paid lots of money to brought them),. Then they sold their campus and going to move to different location. Very little teacher parents communication. I don't feel that they are listen what parents concern. Cold and unfriendly is how do I describe them. Either their way or no way. Big disappointment. We will transfer out after this year. Can't wait. Pros: Nice classroom Cons: Teacher changes all the time more

great school 3/14/2006

I have two children at the school in the primary and elementary programs. The school is the real deal. Real Montessori, great faculty and great value! My eldest son graduated last year and is at the top of his class in another private school. He was very well prepared and continues to excel. Pros: great teachers, great program, great location Cons: only goes to grade 5 more
