The Experience i had at the Pearle Vision of Conyers, Ga was the best ive ever had at any doctors office. Dr. Grosswald and his staff were extremely thorough through out the whole process of my vision exam. I would definitly recommend them. This was my first visit to their office and i will definitely be back. The customer service was awesome. I hope my review helps you make a decision on who to use for your vision needs more

First Time Visit 3/23/2011

The doctor is great but his staff is terrible. No one greeted me as I entered the store. I basically just walked around for about 15 minutes trying on glass since I was early for my appoitment. I have no clue where I was supposed to go to check in because everyone was just sitting at their desk starring at the computer with no customers. I wish the staff was friendlier. Finally, I had to ask what to do and was instructed to check in with Christine. Christine took my insurance car but I have no clue what she did with it because before I left they had to verify my coverage. Why wasn't this done before I was ready to check out. Also, I wasn't informed that they used a new technology called Retni(I think) and was billed for it at the end. I know that they are aware of what insurance companies will cover and should give the customer the option of having it done. THE ICING ON THE CAKE--- I called their office on Monday 3/21 and was informed that my glasses were not ready. I called again on yesterday 3/23 and was informed that my glasses have been ready since Monday 3/21. Leslie stated that someone left me a voicemail. I told her that I never received a message or call from their office and that I called on 3/21 and was informed that the glasses were not ready. I was at work so I had my husband to pick up my glasses but he didn't examine before he left. When I made it home I couldn't wait to see my new glasses. I cannot believe that this office actually gave me glasses that were missing 2 rhinestones, chipped and pooly adjusted. The person who prepared my frames obviosly broke one of the limbs and tried to put it back together. The customer service at this place is terrible but the doctor is great. I will be returning the glasses today so that they can do it over. My daughter has an appt on 4/1 but I will be cancelling. more

the Doctor is Outstanding. 12/30/2008

the doctor and the exam was outstanding. he was extremely knowledgable and patience with my 9 year old daughter in need of glasses for the first time. he explained the procedure and options to me and my daughter very well. HOWEVER, the staff was awful!!! Rude is one word that comes to mind. the staff doesn't match the same mannerism of the doctor. when I entered the center, no one greeted me and my daughter and after about 5 minutes of viewing the reading glasses (in error) the doctor actually re-directed me to the children area. the problem with this is, i was one of two other clients in the center and it was 4 to 5 staff members at their stations just sitting at their computers. very unhelpful. In addition to being unhelpful. I gave the staff member my insurance card and explained I was on a tight schedule( mind you, I arrived 30 minutes early) to make sure I could complete my scheduled appointment on time. So I truely assumed the front desk person checked out my insurance information for proper claims. However, I had to wait for insurance verification upon leaving, because she said she was disconnected with the insurance company (so she didn't bother to try the phone line again, while My daughter was being examed?) In addition to the rudeness and uphelpfulness, one of the staff members Instant message the other stating " that customer is crazy" WOW... Please RE- TRAIN the staff to be more Friendly if nothing else as well as verifing insurance. also, I was extremely upset, when I HAD to take the OPTOS RETINAL SCAN-- to view the back of my daughters eye. I asked 5 times if it was optional. because the insurance DOES not pay for this. The staff members make it sound like it is something you have to get. after research, IT IS NOT REQUIRED To take. I feel like I was tricked a little. at the end the office did discount the optos retinal scan. however, I don't like the fact that they made it seem like it is something that is required. Pros: the doctor is good at what he does Cons: the staff is not friendly more
