Dr. Paul S. Fitzmorris, a Metairie native, received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2009 and his Medical Degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2013. Dr. Fitzmorris completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2016 and a Gastroenterology fellowship in 2019.
Dr. Fitzmorris is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Fitzmorris is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
In August of 2019, Dr. Fitzmorris joined the Baton Rouge Clinic Gastroenterology Department.
