Very dissatisfied with customer 7/14/2010

I cannot believe that a place of business could take advantage of someone as bad as Patterson's does. They sold my wife $9,000 of addons to her contract because she didnt know any better. They just asked how much she could put down and what she wanted her payments to be. Well ended up that she put $12,000 down and payments were a wopping $638.92 a month for 72 months @9.99%. They didnt explain anything to her and when she asked why the payments wwere so high they said it was due to bad credit even though she had a credit score of 772. This was for a brand new Dodge P/U 1/2 ton 4wheel drive with a Hemi. Sitcker price was 33,400 and she ended up financing $44,000 with $12,000 down. I WOULD NEVER BUY OR HAVE A VEHICLE SERVICED HERE. I WOULD TAKE THE TIME AND DRIVE TO DALLAS BEFORE I WOULD TAKE ANYTHING TO PATTERSONS AUTO!!! more

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW\r \r I was contacted on 06/18 by Joe Johnson with Patterson Kia of Arlington. He apologized for our having such a bad customer service experience. \r I explained, again, that it wasn`t that we didn`t get the car we wanted, but, rather, that we felt we were being ignored simply because of our credit situation. We scheduled a meeting at the dealership for the following morning.\r Met with Mr. Johnson and he, again, apologized, and explained that it was his desire that I not leave before the situation was resolved to my satisfaction. I stated that my wife and I didn`t feel that the dealership had explored all available avenues for getting us into a new or newer car. He asked which vehicles we were primarily interested in. Help with an SUV 3/25/2008

Preparing for a move, my wife and I started looking for a 4WD SUV. In Texas, it is apparently more difficult than we thought to find this type of vehicle. A salesman at Patterson helped us to find our Chevy Trailblazer, and helped us test drive 4 other vehicles. They took the time to find some 4WD vehicles that weren't even on their lot. They brought them in made them available for us.\r \r They negociated fairly with my wife, and even gave us a better deal than we asked for! If you need a car, check out Patterson.
