I have two children, a 2 year old and a 5-month-old baby. I LOVE the doctors in this practice. With that being said it is a SHAME that I now have to move practices due to the horrid customer service of the front desk! My daughter who is now 2 has been at this practice since she was born at Abington hospital. I never had a problem up until a few months ago. They could not get my insurance right in the computer then sent me a bill for not giving them the correct information at the time of the visit. I had all the correct information at the time but they could not get their system to save it.
Wheat really put me over the edge was the scheduling practices. You are supposed to call 6-8 weeks a head of time for a well appointment, which I did. I made sure I called a head because I need evening appointments and I know they are hard to get. They did not have anything available until three weeks after my children were due. I booked the appointment. The auto appointment reminder called and confirmed the day before. I called to for another paperwork question and advised them of my upcoming appointment and they said they had it in for a different day and 1:45pm not 5:00pm. I explained that I never would have confirmed a daytime appointment because I could not get out of work. I advise it must be some type of computer mix-up. I was advised that they could not fit me in for another 3 months!!!! I argued back and forth and they still refused to fit in my children. I asked what would happen if I waited three months what that would do to my baby’s shot schedule. They said it is not advised to go more than two weeks past. I said ok I am already three weeks past and now because of your computer mistake I have to wait another three months?????? That can’t be good for my baby? Again they insisted that they couldn’t fit me in! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS SOME PERSON ENTERING IN SOME STUPID SCHEDULE NOT THE WELFAIR OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
