Through Martial Arts Training, You Will Develop:
Self-Defense: The techniques of the Martial Arts were developed on ancient battle fields. By returning from battle alive and healthy, warriors proved the effectiveness of their techniques. In today's world, while teaching a person to defend themselves in a safe and effective manner, we emphasize the mental control and restraint necessary in the use of potentially dangerous force.
*Strikes (kicking and punching) for long-range self-defense.
*Grappling and striking (elbows and knees) for close-range and ground defense-90% of all fights end up on the ground.
*Controlling techniques can subdue and attacker without causing any injury to them.
Mental Discipline: The mind needs to learn discipline as well as the body. Students of the Martial Arts will develop better goal-setting skills, positive mental attitudes, and a positive self image, as well as:
*Better listening and thinking skills
*Longer attention span
*Better grades in school
*Increased mental and physical awareness
Tae Kwon Do Foot and Fist Technique is a Korean variation of karate that uses kicks as well as hand strikes. Especially well suited for self-defense in addition to sport application, this art develops both speed and suppleness.
Judo The Gentle Way is a Japanese discipline that involves the entire body and mind. Effective use of the many throws and holds of Judo require concentration and respect for one's partner or opponent.
