I purchased a one month membership at 6:00pm on Friday. On Saturday morning I went to breakfast with a family member who presents me with a 300 minute gift certificate for the same place. The purchase was from one of the owners, 3 hours before I came in on Friday. I called later that day to request a refund to my card for the one month and i would just use the gift certificate. I was told I had to speak to the owners. Three attempts later, I get the female owner and her response to my request is "we do not do refunds". Well in all my 15 year as a Customer Service Manager, I thought that is not a response. My tone here is calm and requesting. I said, " that is not a customer service response". I proceeded to explain why the family member purchased it for me in the first place . This is her response now. "Your personal problems are not of my consern." What are you kidding me!!! I was now in a spot to used the months membership and the gift certificate or lose a good amont of money. I complained to the other owner, the husband and he apologized for the wife and told me, "That they do not know who buys the gift certificates". Well after a month, I turned in the gift certificate. The poor girl at the counter got an ear full about how the owner lied to me( you should never lie to customers, EVER ). Guess what! She pulls out a notebook listing my name the amount for the certificate and who purchased it for me and when. Just in the way they spoke to me, they should not own a business handling customers. Based on the other review this place should not be in business. Do not give them yours.
