Paradise Rock Club is no fun 8/26/2009

Obviously many reviews for the Paradise Rock Club. I was here with a friend. It was not for a rock concert but a reggae concert. It really sucked. They have a bar. The crowd was mixed. My friend is not a dancer so we did not spend too much time here. It was not that packed and we did not had fun so we left. Truereview here to tell you the truth. more

Shows booked here should stay here 6/4/2006

This place is pretty right on, it's one of the premier venues in Boston. There's a front room bar that usually has lighter, more acoustic acts, and the main stage area where the acts are as eclectic as can be. It's fairly small, which is a good thing. There are two bars in the back room and a kind of wiry upstairs where you can get a birds eye view. What I hate is when a show sells out here and they move it to some place like the Avalon so more dweebs who didn't think ahead to buy tickets can get it. It makes the show less personal and the audience less sincere. I'm no jerk, but I'd rather see a show with people who've been wanting to see it for months rather than some kids just looking for something to do. more

The Paradise 3/20/2006

Great sound quality, and it's a small place. If I were to go to a concert in Boston, I would choose between this place and The Roxy. No other locations have this nice an atmosphere with such a small place. It makes it feel more personal. Narrow hallway for the exit. Makes it kind of crowded for the merchandise booth while people are leaving. Great place to go for any show. more

Paradise Rock Club 7/19/2005

My absolute favorite place for concerts in Boston! This venue is small enough to be intimate, but big enough to be comfortable. I have seen Cowboy Mouth, Jump Little Children and Edwin McCain perform here and have loved every second of it. Warning - if you are underage, they will mark your hands with huge black X's that will take up to a week to wash off! more
