You see the small sign "Papa's Cafe" tucked between a barber shop and a gas station - you think greasy spoon right?
Wrong. Oh, so wrong.
Yes, it is a small cafe. No, the decor is not fancy. Plain tables and booths (that you sink WAY down in), Minnesota memorabilia on the walls, stacks of the daily paper and magazines at the front door, and the menus are very simple.
But the food? Fabulous. Every day they have a lunch and dinner special tacked up at each table. We're not talking Open Faced Turkey Sandwich here, the turkey may be served on fresh homemade bread with a gourmet dressing and their delicious fries.
The breakfasts? Just come hungry. The omelets almost fill up the large plates and include done-just-right hash browns and toast.
It's definitely NOT what you expect.
