Best

I have traveled the nation extensively and have eaten at a huge variety Mexican resturants and I am happy to say that we here in Franklin have one of the best...I use the Chimicha...

Worst

There are much better Mexican food places in Franklin. Especially Nacho's Garcia's and La Terraza. Once you try those restaurants, you won't be back here.

Meh 10/30/2009

I don't understand the high reviews here. I work very close to Pancho's here in Franklin and so group lunches often end up being here by default...I try not to go anymore. It's exactly like Las Palmas places around Nashville... The prices are low and honestly so is the quality. Nothing authentic about this place, and there are SO many other Mexican restaurants within a couple miles of this place that are basically the same prices but miles better food...it just doesn't make any sense to go here. The meat is weak, the salsa is canned and mild and thin, and more often than not the lettuce on your plate comes out yellow and warm. Yum! Not. Save yourself some trouble and go to Oscars or La Terraza or Garcias or Pueblo Real. Pros: Cheap Cons: Cheap, boring, bland, typical mexican chain food more

Really Good Mexican! 10/26/2009

I have traveled the nation extensively and have eaten at a huge variety Mexican resturants and I am happy to say that we here in Franklin have one of the best...I use the Chimichanga as my test mesure and Poncho's is one of the best! ENJOY!!! Pros: Great Food, Great Service! Cons: Can be a long wait to be seated. more

It is okay 9/18/2007

I think the comments below are a bit over rated. Panchos is an ""okay"" Mexican Restaurant. I have been there twice in two years, and don't think that I can become a regular. Food is good, portions are big, but the food could be more fresh. Pros: Reasonable Prices Cons: Food is not fresh more

Love, love, love everything about Panchos!! 6/29/2007

I eat mexican at least once a week. I often try new mexican restaurants in and out of town, but I have yet to find a mexican restaurant that beats Pancho's. Going to Pancho's is like going home for me. The staff is efficient and friendly (great with kids). Don't be discouraged if you get there and there's a line out the door - the line moves quickly, and as soon as you're seated you have chips & salsa in front of you! The portions are HUGE - I recommend ordering fajitas along with an extra salad plate and split it with someone! My other favorites are their cheese enchiladas and grilled chicken nachos (kids LOVE this one!). \r \r If you want to have a drink - don't miss out on their margaritas...they don't skimp on the alcohol - one is enough for me!! I love their frozen strawberry margaritas! YUM YUM!! \r \r Bottom line - I have never had a bad experience at Panchos and I've gone very often the past several years! If I find out a friend has never been there - then that's where we go to eat. Oh, and did I mention it's CHEAP???? :) Pros: service, price, food more

Best Mexican Restaurant in Franklin 5/9/2005

Few places garner my desire to become a ""regular"". This one does! My wife and I refer to our weekly visit as our ""Panchos date"". They're always busy because of their great food, great quantities of food and the friendliest of friendlies. This is the place to go every week! Once you've been there a few times, look around. You'll see numerous faces that you saw the last time and the time before. This place should be the example for all restaurants to aspire to!! Pros: food/taste & price, Friendliness, margaritas Cons: too few stores, too many customers, not open 24X7 more

The best and most affordable Mexican around! 4/11/2005

We enjoyed many meals at Panchos since they have opened. It is absolutley the best around! I have never been to a restaurant where they are so fast and friendly! The food is so inexpensive to be so great. They could charge double (but I hope they don't!) We just recently moved to Indiana and I am missing my Panchos so much. I have tried all of the Mexican places around our new house and they just don't compare. We are coming back to Nashville for our vacation and you better believe I will be at Panchos..ALOT! If you havent tried it, and are looking for a great Mexican restaurant definetly make the drive to Panchos it is well worth it! L.Tutor Indiana-former Franklin, TN. more

Excellent Value 9/17/2003

My wife and I came in at noon one Sunday and was promptly seated. One minute later, I had a basket of chips and salsa and two tall glasses of ice water in front of me. My wife and I ordered the steak fajita special off of the lunch menu and asked for two plates. A short time later, they brought out tortilla shells, the steak fajita, beans, rice, sour cream, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. The steak was tender and everything else was fantastic. My wife and I ate as much as we possibly could and had so much left over, we had to take it home in a to go box and ate the rest for dinner. We drank the ice water that was brought to us and the total for the fajita lunch special we split was only $5.99 plus tax! Best and cheapest Mexican food around! Pros: No smoking on Sunday, Fast service, Friendly more
