Great burritos and easy parking! 6/11/2006

I discovered this spot as I was driving by the other night. I had the steak and shrimp burrito w/black beans. Yum! A couple of nights later, I had the small burrito with chicken, even more Yum! Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant itself is very clean!\r \r As for the taco remark a couple of reviews below, tacos don't have beans, that's why they're tacos and not burritos! Surprised to see negative ratings 5/1/2006

If you can't make it to the Mission from your neck of the woods, Pancho's does the trick. It's fast, cheap (have no idea why someone said it was not), and good! We have been frequent visitors at Pancho's over the years, the staff really work hard and the quality is consistent. This place is solid. Pros: Food, Service, Fast more

This place is so similar to a Chevy's I was looking for the tm next to their name. Bennigan's-like mexican memoribilia and fake mexican Pier One type decor. The taco I got didn't even have beans! How can you even call this mexican food? One taco had ""beer battered mahi-mahi"" which is bizarre. Expensive, too. more

Pancho's is a treat! 1/24/2005

I eat a lot of burritos. I like all types. Traditional Mexican flavor to the LA/California style that all the chains burrito shops are now making popular. I spend a lot of time in the Mission and eat a lot of the hyped mission burritos. For me, Pancho's is not a traditional SF Mission burrito. It's more of a mix of the awesome Mission style and delicious Fresh Calif-Mex style that the chains try to achieve. It's often my major incentive to trek over to the Richmond. more

Great flavor 11/29/2004

I loved this place. I used to eat their burritos when they had a shop in Berkeley. The flavor is amazing, and I love the salsas and guac. I prefer the one on Geary over the polk location. My only complaint is that at times the burritos are a little on the small side more

Pancho's is a great local place - the food is great (love the BBQ chicken burrito) salsa is fresh and service is friendly. It's also inexpensive and I have always been able to find a seat. Pros: Really good food, Very Inexpensive, Good Service more

Panchos has some of the best, freshest mexican food around! The guacamole is absolutely mind-boggling -- and the food is great! Cute ambience, fun atmosphere and decor -- one cannot ask for more in a cute neighborhood Mexican fast food place that tastes like anything BUT fast food.
