Remember that some people can be very neurotic about their pets, and when someone writes ""they were so rude to me I had to hang up on them,"" you have to wonder what the other side of that transaction might reveal -- more about the customer than the shop owners would be my bet! more

Pampered Pets - don't bother! 5/18/2011

I have never worked with such an unprofessional organization. I would NEVER recommend that you go to this establishment with your loved furry ones. We asked for a slightly shorter cut than last time and they completely butchered my Aussie. When I called to discuss it with them after my husband brought her home they were extremely rude to the point I had to hang up the phone. Save yourself a bad experience and do not go to Pampered Pets. \r more

SUPER PLACE FOR GROOMING FOR OVER 15 YEARS! 8/16/2010

Having taken my dog Kato (who I recently lost) to Pampered Pets for over 15 years with excellent service. I decided to bring our skiittish spitz Mia in for a grooming, She was experiencing ""hot spots"" and I was hoping to have the same great results with her as with Kato. Ken and Debeorah. are super friendly and Ken is a true artist when it comes to grooming. His demeaneor with pets is AMAZING!\r I insisted on staying for the grooming just in case Mia did not behave. She was very tempermental at first but Ken quickly calmed. He did an excellent job and the special shampoo they use is very gentle even on the most sensitive skin. Bad Place to Take Your Pet 3/8/2010

I took my dog in for grooming and when I picked him up his back was bleeding. I took him to the vet and they said that the groomer was too aggressive in brushing or washing. The dog had to be place on antibiotics for two weeks. To make matters worse, the owner would not accept any responsibility for what happened to my pet. The vet told me to stay away from this place!!!!!!! more

Amazing Groomer 3/3/2009

I've been taking my schnauzer to Pampered Pets for several years. I stopped for awhile when I moved towards Lake Travis because the drive was so far. However, I haven't found anyone who compares to them. So, after several bad haircuts, I now take off time from work to get her there in the mornings and it's so worth the drive! They have always been so kind to me and my dog and have given her consistently great haircuts. They are always willing to change it up when asked to cut her beard shorter or leave it longer and will always get her out early to accommodate my work schedule. I really appreciate how caring the owner's are to her and feel comfortable leaving her in their care. I can't say enough great things about them. Pros: Great Service, Caring Staff more

great cuts - awesome customer service 11/7/2008

I love this place. I use them for both my schnauzer and yorkie. They always do an amazing job. The husband does the schnauzer and the wife does my yorkie. They always take such great care of them, they have great prices and they always get them done really fast. \r \r more

DON'T GO TO PAMPERED PETS 9/10/2008

The women at this place are really nice but the man, husband, owner is so unpleasant that I would never take my pet there again. If he doesn't leave the business, I anticipate they will go out of business. He thinks he knows more than the owners or their vets and they only know one haircut. And he gets huffy if you want to suggest anything new. Even for your own pet. I say, find another groomer. He is always barely able to be nice to people so I wonder how he is with the dogs when the owner is not there. My friend used to go there too and every time, her dog came back cut which then required antibiotics. Scary. more

Best grooming for whatever Breed/best caring for animals 4/27/2008

I tried them yrs ago & was happy but still searched for the ""perfect Westie"" cut so I tried many susposingly excellent groomers with horrible results/stories to tell. I ended up back at Pampered Pets probably now for about 8 yrs. The MOST loving groomers, the ""perfect Westie"" cut and ""perfect Heinz 57 cut"" also! The love they give our furry babies is the ultimate. Have now had 3 Westies with them and 2 big (85 lbs) mixed breed with them since about 1990 & they all walk in without a leash very happily. Great pet grooming experience 11/30/2007

We recently took our two pomeranians for grooming and were very pleased with the results. The staff was very friendly with us and our dogs. They completed the grooming in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable for what we had done. We would highly recommend this business. more

Best Groomers in Texas! 10/4/2007

I love these guys! They care for all three of my dogs as if they were their own. They are the most caring in handling and interaction and their love for animals shows. I looked for the right groomers for my dogs for 5 years till I found Pampered Pets. I have used them 2 years and plan to stay. They are real good folks! Pros: Their work is good and they care more

Bad grooming, and very expensive 5/13/2007

I had a terrible experience using Pampered Pets to get my dog groomed. They charge an exorbitant amount ($87 for a haircut) and yet they did a very sloppy job. The cut around the face is obviously asymmetric, with random tufts of hair left uncut in various places. The cut around the body is very choppy and in general I'm shocked at the carelessness, especially given the price they charge. I showed pictures of what I wanted the cut to look like, and what we got is pretty far off. It would be less of a concern if the cut were at least high quality. I consider it a big rip-off and don't recommend going there. more

Good Customer Service and Great Grooming 10/30/2006

I've been aware of Pampered Pets for many years, but I'd never used their grooming services until a few weeks ago. I read the previous review here on CitySearch and was a little put off, but decided to give them a try anyway. I'm very glad I did. They were very friendly and listened to my grooming needs. They gave my little wire/long-hair Dachshund the best cut I'd ever seen and he was a happy boy when I picked him up. I'll definitely use them again. Pros: Great cut and groom more

Poor Customer Service 1/31/2006

They don't have people skills here. Not bad with dogs, as long as you don't say anything about what you like or don't like---then watch out. Can be rude and refuse to take care of your animals. more
