The Palomar Medical Group, headed by Dr. Mark Shapiro and staffed by Dr. Emmit Lee, have routinely provided unprofessional and dispectful service to me and many other patients. You must leave a message and hopefully/maybe someone will call you back. I've had call backs ranging from two to six hours to the next day! One time they were so tardy, I was forced to go to an emergency room for service, even though Dr. Lee was my health care provider. I say 'was,' because Dr. Lee and Dr. Shapiro unilaterally refused further service to me for daring to bring to their attention their terrible customer service on numerous occasions. Not once, did any member of this group ever contact me to apologize for their gross lack of timely service or offer to correct their poor service. In speaking with a number of other client/patients, I found this same complaint was pervasive.
Cons: PMG doesn't heed legitimate complaints.
