Editorial Review 10/28/2011

Pacific Science Center is located on Seattle Center campus and is a great destination for all ages. It houses interactive exhibits and programs about science, technology and math. The aim of the center is to ignite curiosity and spark interest in the study of science. Children can explore the Dinosaurs era, understand how our body functions and take a peek into the current research and advances of the local scientists and much more. Next door there is a planetarium and IMAX theatre. more

3$ IMAX tickets if you use Prime card - seats are pretty old and worn out 10/16/2011

These is a pretty good theater and really cheap if you have prime card. Only draw back is that the seats are pretty old and thu cushion is mostly gone so you can feel the springs from the seat. Apart from that is great. Also you get to get inside the pacific science center before the movie starts more

Discover new great things every time. 10/30/2009

My kids and I have this quarterly ritual. We visit the Pacific Science Center. We find that there is always something to discover and that they update their exhibits frequently, each one more interesting than the previous. Great fun place that's also educational and a nice breather from the malls. more

Educational - always with something new 4/14/2009

I like the Pacific Science Center because it's a great place to learn for kids. I don't have kids myself but if I did, i would bring them here. The interactive exhibits are great - and they frequently have special exhibits for people who have gone multiple times in the past. I liked the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit last year. When I went this last weekend, they had a real baby calf's brain that you could touch (with gloves). Super cool! Also with Prime Discount, the entrance fee was only $3 and that includes an IMAX film too! Great value! more

Fun 4/14/2009

Always enjoyed walking around PSC. Their rotating theme exhibits are definitely good and new. But tried and true exhibits like the butterfly or the space ones, can't go wrong with those. Brings out the kid in all of us. Of course the Imax theater rocks! They take prime card/ passport discount. $3! more

PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER 7/20/2006

It's great for families or even if you don't have kids you'll have a ball! There are hundreds of exhibits, giant screen Imax films---some in 3D, you can ride a high wire bicycle, shoot water cannons, and visit a tropical butterfly house. (I particularly like that last one in winter!). The place is amazing. I've taken my kids and now I take my 2 year old grandson who loves it. I can't get him to leave when he's in town. If you like fun---and who doesn't---I would say Discover Pacific Science Center. more

Fun times! 5/9/2006

This is a great place for kids and I especially like to take mine here because I have three and there is something to keep every age group busy here. My toddler adores the water play section and my older kids enjoy the interactive exhibits geared to their ages. You must NOT miss the butterfly house - this is an amazing experience for kids and adults alike. A day spent at the Pacific Science Center is always a fun one! more

Pacific Science Center 4/23/2006

I go here to walk around, enjoy the science exhibits, and then relish in the IMAX. There is usally something phenomenal showing. Oh, don't forget the planetarium. The Butterfly House is entertaining, too. Way too cool. There's so much here, it is hard to talk about one being better than the other. The admission price is well worth the experience and learning. more

science 4/8/2006

I had an enjoyable experience at the museum, I went early on a Saturday morning and the place was not packed at all. As the day progressed, more and more people arrived but getting there early was a great idea. The Museum has laser shows during the night, and I attended the Beatles Laser Show. It was an awesome experience, but your eyes/head might start to hurt a bit with all the flashing lights. more

Impressive! 4/1/2006

HUGE fan of the Pacific Science Center. This is one place that your family will not tire of. Plenty of exhibits for all ages. There is even a dedicated space for toddlers. It is enclosed, so you can feel safe letting your child run through. Make sure you check out an IMAX showing. The IMAX theatre was definitely the highlight of the day! more

Great Place for Older Kids 3/20/2006

The Pacific Science Center is a great place for the kindergartner through junior high crowd. The exhibits are interesting and interactive and keeps the kids entertained. The IMAX theater is impressive, so definitely catch a movie while you're here, and the laser show is compelling as well. There's a lot to see and do here, so plan on spending the afternoon. The Seattle Center Food Court is just a short walk a way, so it's nice to take a break and return for more. Definitely one of the nicer Science Centers around the country. more

Worth the Price - How Nice 3/19/2006

The kids will enjoy going back so I recommend getting a membership. If you go to the Pacific Science Center once a month during the summer its worth getting a Family Membership. There are some perks in doing so. Check online. I'm not much into museums and the likes, but this I can do. Kids of all ages seem to like the Butterfly Exhibit and the Dinosaurs Exhibit. There is a Café that sells lunch but I would opt to bring our own. There is so much to do and see so bring comfy walking shoes. more

Great place for kids and a party 3/6/2006

We've had a party there and it is great for kids. They have specific programs for kids. The one we tried was to build a rocketship with Alka Seltzer, film canister. The kids loved the launch. They also make ice cream with liquid nitrogen which is very cool. finally, as an extra charge they will let you see an IMAX movie which is great fun. more

great fun with the kids 2/23/2006

parts of the science center reminds me of an old high school lab. simple, not glitzy, and pretty basic. the dinosuar exhibit is just static. but the imax theater is up to date and the children's play area is fantastic - running water, mechanical contraptions, lots of toy blocks. a great day with the kids. more

PSC for teh WIN! 12/24/2005

I visited the Science center today, and this was by far one of the best places for children to go to in Seattle. Fun packed with 3 buildings of hands-on excitment, along with a building with a travelling exhibit, PSC provides hours of interactive fun and enjoyment for the whole Family. This is the only place in Seattle with 2 IMAX theaters with massive sound. Totally worth it. more

Great Place for Science Exploration 12/10/2005

Science exploration is the key, and fun is the lock. You can unlock the magical fun within this science museum. One visit and you'll be stuck! You might even find yourself buying a membership here probably the highest level. Trust me, you will want to come back everyday of the year. Platinum family membership is what i recomend, you get so many free imax movies its crazy. more
