Just happened in at the beginning of a late October rain storm, asked for quarters for the non working parking ticket machine just outside. The person who was later to be our server refused to give me any change and I ended up getting soaked getting change at a store down the street. She was not much better as our server. The food is very good and this is the first time in many years I have left less than a 20% tip. more

This was my 3rd visit to the location at Johnson St on Hollywood Beach (the Sunny Isles location is closed). The first 2 times was for lunch and even though they advertise fried rice as a side dish they didn't have it on the days I ordered with my meal and suggested white rice and beans. Last night for dinner I ordered Chicken fried rice which they had, but seemed that they did not cook it together. The rice had a very good taste and tender, but the chicken seemed to have been cooked later and added, it had no flavor, was over cooked, dry and hard. I couldn't eat the chicken and moved to the side. The food my wife and her friend had was very good, but the prices seem to be quite a bit higher than other Peruvian sites in this area. The Chicken fried rice is $11.99 compared to $6.95 at The Peruvian House over on US1 which in my opinion is much better. more

This restaurant has been the highlight in my vacation in Florida. My family and I just stumbled upon it while walking the famous Hollywood Beach and we LOVED it!!! The food was excellent and we couldn't stop raving about it while eating. We ordered 6 different dishes and I would be happy eating ANY of them on a daily basis. Definitely try the fried (whole) fish, the seafood soups, and the yellow rice seafood...SO tasty, fresh, and good!! I'll make sure to come back next time I'm in town. more

I moved from Lima around 5 years ago. At begining was very dificult for me to find a good peruvian restaurant, until I found Pachamamma. The food is not only good here but also the service and the prices!\r They never let me down.. except when I am very hungry and they are busy, then the food take a little extra time to be cooked.\r Other than that I have no complaints just good reviews! more

I'm Peruvian-American and have eaten at Peruvian restaurants that are upscale and casual alike (in Peru as well as throughout the USA). Pachamamma is a great casual restaurant that cooks traditional Peruvian dishes very well. They've never disappointed me and they are always pleasant. The portions are VERY ample and the service is fine. Favorite dish is the Tallarin Verde w. Carne. I wish they could send it to me FedEx it's THAT good. I've brought many visitors who are world travelers and have always had a pleasant meal and good service. Enjoy! more

I have had a variety of Peruvian BBQ chicken, Pollo a Brasa. It is my favorite dish. Pachamamma prepares it a bit better than the BBQ joints (which I love). Very delicious! Their accompanying sauces are home made fresh and excellent. Ther service is polite and prompt. The prices cannot be beat. more

Stay away from all seafood at this restaurant. I ordered the tiradito app and I had to spit out the thick fatty pieces of nasty grouper. The spicy seafood entree was just as bad with small pieces of tough rubbery octopus and rubbery scallops. I managed to eat some of the shrimp and calamari but the rest was inedible. Keep driving south to Adriana in Surfside and experience quality Peruvian food. more
