Best

If you're in the mood for the best chinese restaurant experience of your life, drive to Crabtree Valley Mall and find PF Chang's on the top floor. The decor is ritzy Asian. The ...

Worst

Numbed-down, blanded Americanized Chinese fair. Fairly loud and rushed, don't plan on staying long or getting too comfortable... Evidently they don't take reservations, good for ...

Sure Beats Those Buffets! 12/2/2002

I finally got to try P.F. Chang's with 4 others, and it was the best food I've had in a long time! Each dish had it's own unique twist on an age old Chinese cuisine theme, and each was better than the last. All of us were raving about the food for days! Our biggest complaint however, was the fact that the restaurant was so noisy! We could hardly hear each other over the deafening noise, and unfortunately, we were with folks we haven't seen in over two years, so the noise level was a major problem for us. Our table was also huge, great for fitting plates, but not good for conversation. The person across was pretty far away. Maybe that's why it is noisy...everyone has to shout! Pros: Food Quality, Service Cons: Noisy, Tables Too Big more

Great Looking Bus Boys!!! 11/12/2002

The food was great, but out of the all the things I enjoyed about Changs, my favorite had to be the most handsome looking bus boys I have ever seen in a resteraunt, and such gentleman too. They must breed good looking young men in the back where they cook the rice. Pros: Busers!!! more

Very Nice but Different 11/9/2002

We went with 2 other couples and enjoyed the food but not what I would call authentic Chinese food. Very good quality food but a bit crowded and noisy. more

Top of the Line 11/8/2002

This is our favorite Chinese, and we've tried them all. more

great taste of atmosphere 11/8/2002

Together with the bar and restaurant set up, the food was exceptional and the service was great. I tip my hat to the barkeep that kept my drink filled and my spirits entertained. more

Totally non authentic 11/7/2002

PF Chang's provides Americanized food to the masses its as far away from china as i am sat here in Durham! more

Completely Addictive 10/21/2002

I have to say that P.F. Changs is simply the best Chinese food in the Raleigh/Durham/Wake Forest area. The atmosphere is amazing!! The staff are so incrediably delightful and prompt! The food. The food is just to die for! Simply delicious!! more

Chocolate Delight 10/8/2002

the best thing around! PF is great, from start to finish, From lettuce wraps to 7 layer chocolate cake...oh yeah! I would recommend PF Chang to anyone wanting a great night full of great atmosphere, great service, and certainly great food for a reasonable price! more

Upscale Oriental 10/2/2002

We enjoyed our visit, except for the server's assistant that removed our appetizer before we finished it. Food was good but very pricey. Pros: ambiance, valet parking at nigh Cons: crowded, pricey more

What?? 9/11/2002

This is an ok resturant for ""chainfood"" Chinese but it is far from the best chinese. You must attend a Chinese estabishment that is actually operated by persons of Asian heritage. Dalat is much better! Cons: chain resturant, ordianary food, North Raleigh more

Quality, not authenticity 8/28/2002

Good, if somewhat bland, semi-asian-style food. The quality is consistently high, but the service and atmosphere is phony. Pros: quality, consitent Cons: expensive, not authentic more

Heavenly... 8/23/2002

We were in Heaven as we sampled the chicken lettuce wraps and the shrimp dumplings for our appetizers. The service was very prompt and friendly. Love the secret sauce! more

Great Food...long waits! 8/19/2002

I love the food at P.F. Chang's. It has a distinct flavor and aroma to everything. Its unlike any other Chinese I've eaten...certainly not the buffets and cheap eateries (not that I've got anything against spending less dough). However, they sure make you wait for your food. I guess it creates a healthy appetite, and helps their business a bit. Not to mention, how popular the place already is. Pros: Reasonably Prices, Good Parking, Pleasant Servers Cons: Long Wait, Sulky Hostesses more

Longtime Favorite 8/7/2002

PF Chang's has always been a prime example of impecable service with a smile. I have never been displeased because even when a mistake is made, amends are offered. The waiters and waitresses are on point and knowledgable about the menu, which in and of itself is exemplary. PF Chang's has been a long time favorite among friends and is a place that I would recommend to anyone. It is an excellent choice for when the parents come in to town or as a relaxed, romantic setting for couples. Kudos to everyone involved. Pros: Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Interesting Ambience Cons: Often a Long Wait, Small Dessert Menu more

It Rocks 8/1/2002

I have eaten at 3 different locations of PF Changs and they have never let me down. Pros: Reasonable prices Cons: Long wait more

It's Expensive & Trendy 8/1/2002

but the food (most importantly) is totally acceptable to be honest. more

nasty nasty nasty 7/31/2002

the service was horrible, and it was so overpriced, and the food was mostly cold. more

Nice Place! 7/30/2002

Great for small gatherings with friends or an intimate dinner for 2. Love the ambiance and the food. Honey-glazed chicken is A+, and go for the chicken lettuce-wraps for an appetizer. more

Excellent place 7/30/2002

Food is just great and the service is excellent. The only problem is seating, I have always had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get a table. more

Awesome Food! 7/27/2002

Little pricey, long wait but well worth the dime and time! more
