It could have been better.... this was a special night as I was entertaining two very dear friends on an important night. I could have gone to the new place on Route 35 in Holmde...

Excellent food but creepy busboy. 7/1/2011

Food is excellent and delicious. Portions are generous if you know what you're doing. Everything is perfect except one busboy who I think is the owners son kept smiling and looking at me funny. more

Great food, one not so good employee 5/31/2011

I am a regular customer at Osho, and have enjoyed their food for years. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very enjoyable and the owners are hospitable. HOWEVER on a few recent visits, I have been offended by the behavior of what seems to be the owners' teenage son. He appears to have a short temper and can be quite rude. more

manager's youngest son is a creeper 5/24/2011

The service and wide range of choices makes this place a very good restaraunt. But the youngest son of the manager is a creeper.and got angry every 5 seconds when I was there. more

Will not be back. 2/6/2011

This is the first time I was here and for how expensive it was, the food was not worth it. I paid 20 dollars for chicken teriyaki and shumai. The chicken was very dry and there were only 8 small pieces. It was not worth how much they charge for it. more

An Excellent casual sushi place 12/28/2008

I have been dining at Osho since they opened, the food quality presentation and service has always been exemplary. Portions are generous and consisten. The head Chef and owner is extremely dedicated to the highest standard of quality and service. One saturday afternoon one of my companions ordered a Hamachakam, it was not available but the staff called the owner at home and he came in and cut up a fresh fish to make this item for us. That is what I call AWESOME SERVICE. I strongly reccomend you try Osho in Holmdel for Sushi. Sit at the bar and Say hi to David and Ni Sui san, tell em' Sebastian sent you. more

What I Love About Osho 10/22/2006

Osho Japanese Cuisine consists of the freshest fish. The chef puts so much effort into selecting the right seafood to use for sushi or hot dishes. The dish that I love the best in Osho is Sushi Pizza. My favorite sushi include Palm Spring Roll, Firestone Roll and Sunshine Roll. Osho is a very comfortable and a warm welcoming place. Unlike most of the resturants that I've been to, Osho is decorated like a real Japanese restaurant. more

What I love about Osho 10/22/2006

Osho Japanese Cuisine consists of the freshest fish. I love their sushi pizza. It's the best dish to have. My other favorite rolls consists of Bomb Roll, Palm Spring Roll, and Sunshine Roll. My family and friends love the place. I go there twice almost every week! Osho is a really comfortable and a nice welcoming place. The whole place looks the most Japanese of all the restaurants that I've ever been to. more

Osho Japanese Sushi 8/29/2005

It could have been better.... this was a special night as I was entertaining two very dear friends on an important night. I could have gone to the new place on Route 35 in Holmdel, but I figured Osho has been around in this strip mall for a very long time; it has to be good, right? Well... it was just OK. One of the things that annoys the heck out of me is when the sashimi is not sliced THINLY! Thick slices of raw fish just don't do it. The service was good, it usually is in Japanese restaurants (there's an exception to that rule which I'll post in another review!) but I was turned off by the sashimi. Also, a bowl of soy beans (endame) was stingy. This is a very inexpensive appetizer, restaurants would do well to be generous in their serving size of this veggie. more
