I ordered a pair of shoes online from ComfortFeet Shop on July 28th and immediately received an order confirmation. Several days later I noticed that my card still had not been charged so I attempted to contact ComfortFeet Shop by phone. I received an answering service that stated ""if i leave my name and number a customer service representative would return my call"". After leaving several messages my call was never returned. On July 31st I wrote an email to ComfortFeet shop concerning my order which asked them to cancel it if it was on back order. I received NO response. On August 5th I sent a second email referencing the 1st email, asking if someone could please get back to me about my original email. On August 5th I received an email from ComfortFeet shop which stated ""Clarks should be shipping our orders to us by the end of the week."" At this point I emailed them again to point out that I had asked that my order be canceled if it was on back order. On August 5th i received another email from ComfortFeet shop that stated ""We will cancel your order as requested and apologise for the delay with shipping it to you. Clarks is shipping our back orders to us Friday and we were hoping to fufill your order early next week. I apologise for the mis communication."" This email was followed by a second email which referenced my original order and stated ""Canceled per customer."" At this point I thought I was finally in the clear. BUT THEN... On August 17th (12 days after i was told my order had been canceled) I noticed that ComfortFeet Shop had went ahead and charged my credit card anyway. I immediately emailed them stating that this problem needed to be corrected immediately or I would take action. I received an auto response which stated ""Thank you for ComfortFeet Shop customer service. We will reply to your email within 1 business days."" I sent the aforementioned email on Sunday evening, it is now Wednesday morning and they finally got back to me with: ""This is not very good. Your order was processed before you canceled it."" Which is obviously a bold face lie.
Cons: awful customer service
