Fantastic Catering! We had a company dinner catered by Orient Garden last night. The food was delicious and plentiful. The order was well-packed and included everything needed - eating and serving utensils, plates, and condiments. The price was incredibly reasonable too! I highly recommend. Pros: Food, Value more

Went there with friend and food was good in some way but menu is all like take out type of menu. For the money you are spending I guess it was worth it. Is there any quality Chinese in Raleigh? and answer is none. more

Great food 5/8/2009

The food here is excellent. The dishes are very similar to most competitors and while the inside of the restaurant is no-frills, it is a quiet, intimate place with good, friendly, and fast service. The prices may be slightly higher but you can definitely taste the difference. I would recommend for lunch, dinner, and takeout. I would drive past ten places to get to this one for takeout especially. Pros: Great location Cons: Small, nondescript atmosphere more

I've never had any Chinese food as good as Orient Garden's. The takeout service is always prompt, the staff is friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. A much better deal than the more commercial Neo-China in the same plaza. more

Freshest chinese food! 3/3/2007

Orient Garden is my favorite chinese restaurant in Cary. Although the restaurant itself is nothing special, the food is fresh and tasty, portions ample, and the service is usually quick. You can tell that the vegetables in their dishes are fresh, and unlike most chinese restaurants, they are not overcooked. Want hunan chicken, but without waterchestnut? No problem - the waiters will take time to write down your special request so that you get your food exactly the way that you want it - even if what you want isn't on the menu. If you like chinese food, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. more

WHERE did you eat? 11/20/2002

I read the reviews and eagerly headed to Orient Garden in search of the best Chinese food in Cary. What we got was overcooked General Gau's and crab rangoon with NO crab, real or artificial, and some kind of pale white goo where the cheese should have been. The people were nice, the place smelled great, and the hot & sour soup was good, but the crab rangoon was unforgiveable. There's GOT to be a better place. Pros: Location Cons: Crab rangoon more

The best tofu dishes around 9/27/2002

This is the best chinese place in the area! They serve you dishes anyway you like them and taste great! I recommend the home style tofu or curry vegetables. A good place for vegetarians and health conscious people (they serve steamed entrees with no oils, startch etc). The servers are wonderful and rememberd us when we came back. It's a tiny, simple place but they shouldn't change a thing. more

Best Orange Beef 8/3/2002

Looking deceptively like other Chinese storefronts, you must try Orient Garden to appreciate the difference. Food is an art here and yet prices and portions are comparable to the less noble. Even the steamed rice tastes better here. Venture out and try new dishes, especially some of the most authentic dishes like 'fun' noodles. Their orange beef, mooshu and garlic dishes are my favorite. It's nice to enjoy plum wine with dinner. A great family atmosphere and the wait staff will do anything for you. Pros: fresh food, never greasy, let you taste sauces Cons: not enough seating, hard to understand more
