Everybody knows about Goodwill and the Salvation Army, right?
But Bloomington has its own "locally grown" thrift store, which is out of the way but with plenty of "good pickin's." It's decidedly cheaper than any of the trendier vintage clothing stores, and it's got an interesting variety of stuff from clothing to toys to housewares to appliances to books. And more, I'm sure, but those things came to me right away.
They accept donations at their back door and will even help you carry the things inside.
