bad management 6/22/2011

Staff-Kelly in One pearl place sucks. She has been acting like a bitch. If the manager change to someone else might be a big plus. more

Not a place I would Recommend 3/21/2006

My lease with my current rental is expiring so i thought i would check this place out...Even though they are being marketed as Luxury apartments with the rent being comparable with some of the best apartment complexes in the bay area, I dont think it deserves to be such a high ticket place. The facilities here are just average and the place ai'nt that clean. The only plus that icould make out was its close proximity to the Light rail. I think i am gonna look elsewhere!!! more

It's gone downhill 10/21/2005

I was pleased with the management and maintenance when I first moved in over a year ago, but I've decided not to renew my lease after I've watch this place slowly degrade. One Pearl Place is a luxury apartment complex located near a light rail station, next door to low-income housing. It's often noisy in the mornings and late at night. You'll often hear sirens heading towards the apartments across the way. Parking is also a problem inside and outside of the garage. Tenants don't seem to know the difference between an actual parking stall and illegal parking. Parking outside is usually taken by non-residents. Maintenance response time has also slowed since the complex opened and the security guard that used to roam the grounds is long gone. We are also being charged for water and sewer (most apt complexes pay the sewer and water utilities) . Despite the problems, there are a lot of amenities. The complex has a quarter-length pool, hot tub, and a small gym. The gym consists of a multi-purpose weight machine, two bikes, two ellipticals and a treadmill. The front desk also does provide a concierge service that signs for packages. They also have a deal with directTV, so satellite TV installation is quick and easy. more
