Once Upon A Child

Maybe I just went on a bad day, but I felt that the selection at Once Upon a Child was not very good, and overpriced to boot. The shoes were all in very worn condition, but the prices were still high. I also did not find a ton of the "name brands" that I was told I could find. They do have a good selection of toys and gear if that is what you are looking for. I have not sold anything to OUAC, but have heard they give really low money. Maybe I will try them again and then I can write a better review! more

They have a great selection of furniture and clothes and books and toys. The quality is very high for used clothing. The furniture is in very good shape and there is always a huge selection to chose from as far as toys, clothes and other items. located in chandler on alma school rd in chandler Arizona. more

I had the opportunity to visit this store while visiting a friend on the east side of town (I live way west side). She told me that had lots of cute clothes and used toys. My son was in between sizes when we went, so I was hoping to find a few shirts/shorts to get him through the rest of the summer, without having to pay full retail price. While I did find some cute outfits, I thought even for “used” they were very overpriced. I could buy NEW clothes at a chain store for almost the same price. I did end up with one toy that my son fell in love with, and while I feel it was a little overpriced, the look on his face was worth it. The store is very stroller friendly, which is a plus! The staff was very nice, too bad they couldn’t lower their prices some! If one opens on my side of town, I would probably visit, but not worth an over 1 hour drive my my home. more

This place does have lots of things to choose from. It is great if you are looking for a toy you can't find in the stores anymore. But the prices are high considering you are buying used things. I can usually find the same things in the store new if I keep my eyes out for good sales. The store is kinda crowded, but the merchandise is always clean and in good condition. They don't offer much for the stuff that you are bringing in. It is kinda insulting, considering how much money they are changing for the items they sell. more

This store is a little more expensive than some of the others in town, but the stuff is clean and perfect. The store only carries popular name brands. The parking is easy, the set up is fairly easy to follow. Displays show some effort of matching. Loads of toys and accessories available. more

Once Upon a Child is a large store with a wide selection of baby and kids items. However, their prices are much too high and often you could buy new for less if you find a good sale. The store is overstocked and crowded, and unless things are on clearance it's not a good place to find a deal. They are very picky about what they will buy, which is a good thing, but they also don't offer sellers very good prices. If you are looking to sell your used baby items, you'll get a much better price at some of the other resale shops around. more
