On The Spot Engraving

I have used On The Spot on several occasions for personalized coffee mugs both for personal use and for work. I have always had great service from this shop. The quality of the coffee mugs I have had made there has always been top notch and the gentleman who owns the shop has always been willing to do touch ups to the photos being printed onto the mugs as needed. I have found the print quality on coffee mugs here to be better than any other place in the Portland Metro area. On several occasion I have come in with a photo on a thumb drive and walked out the door within 15 - 20 minutes with a brand new coffee mug in my hot little hand. I always like to shop local when possible for services like this. I was very happy to find this little shop tucked into an out of the way spot and I send people his way frequently. Kudo's all around! I went there to get a dog tag engraved, the guy who "helped" me (Bald, Paunchy) was so rude I almost left. The store is full of errors on all the examples. I wouldn't trust this store with anything. Consider this your fair warning. Go to somewhere else. Pros: None? Cons: Everything. more

I have used On the Spot for a couple of years for name badges for our curling club. Every order has been on time and their customer service has been very good. There have been time where I have needed overnight service and they have been there for me, with a smile. Pros: Willing to make suggestions Cons: None so far more

I don't know if my first sign should have been that they were in Jantzen Beach Mall or that the guy working had no idea what I was talking about order wise and yelled at me. We DISTINCTIVELY told this place we needed our trophies at a certain time. As I showed up to get them, on the way to the banquet they were needed for, they were still not ready. The man working behind the counter was rude and informed me that we were undercharged for what we ordered (by another employees mistake ) and told me I could just come back next time to make up for all the money he was giving us. The service is awful and this place (is awful). I had called a few times to make updates and to see how progress was, the day before the event I was scolded and they told me they would call when they were done. Well, they never called and DID NOT finish our plaques on time. Then, when we received the plaques there were scratches and marred parts all over!! Avoid at all costs. trust me, you'll be very disappointed. Pros: uhm... they are located next to my nail place? Cons: all of it. more
