Good amount of food and the quality was above average. Definitely take advantage of ordering extra pita and humus for additional meals! Planning on ordering again from here. more

Great food and fast delivery. Occasionally the order doesn't show up exactly as it says (missing a salad, missing sauce on an item). They seem nice, so I'm sure they would correct the mistake. more

Always great -- one of our top 10 Evanston restaurants. Love the hummos, the falafil, the tabouleh, fattoush, Lebanonese and chicken salads, the chicken shawerma, shish taouk -- -- you really can't go wrong here no matter what you order! Shukran (thank you), Olive Mountain! more

Beyond awful 2/16/2008

We were seated right away, but on a cold night they put us close to the door (even though it was early and we were some of the first people there), so it was drafty throughout the meal. There were three of us and they kept forgetting to bring enough glasses and plates. The hummus had way too much garlic, the small salads, which had fresh cucumbers, were over dressed and soggy. The seafood gumbo had obviously been made with canned (!) vegetables, and the meat in our entrees (chicken, the combo entree, and shish kabob) was terrible: tasteless, tough, and overcooked. We told the waitress that we didn't like the meal but she was unimpressed. The crazy thing was that this restaurant was PACKED by the time we left, especially with large groups of Northwestern students who are clearly either gluttons for punishment or clueless about decent food. It was so bad -- I would never, ever go back, not even for a small meal of tea and hummus and pita. Cons: everything more

Don't climb that mountain 6/27/2005

The prices may be cheap and affordable but I would not recommend Olive Mountain to anyone. All I can say is that the food is extremely unsatisfactory. I ordered Chicken Schwarma, mediterranian salad and cucumber salad. The cucumber salad arrived at my table looking like soup. The cucumbers were soggy and there was no flavor for a dish that claims to have fresh mint and garlic. My guess is that the cucumber has been soaking in the pool of yogurt for sometime. I would have forgiven the state of the cucumber salad but when the Mediterranian salad arrived, I noticed canned olives. Now, that is just unforgivable. The chicken was ok but it was a little dry. I ended up dipping the chicken in my pool of yogurt. Cons: canned olives, dry chicken, soggy cucumbers more
