We just tried this place recently, and while there are some drawbacks, overall it was a good experience. We arrived very early (about 6 pm), and placed our orders, starting with empanadas as an appetizer. That's when the waiting began. It took about 20-25 minutes for the empanadas to arrive, at which point we kind of hurried through them, thinking the entrees would not be far behind. Were we wrong. Another half hour went by, and we enquired how soon we would be served. The waiter kept reassuring us it would only be a short while. Another 15-20 minutes passed. We were starving so we ordered some more empanadas. Just as we finished the last one, our dinners arrived. Our hopes were not high at this point, but we were very pleasantly surprised. My husband had the pork tenderloin, which was tender and juicy, with a fruit glaze. The only drawback was it was a bit too spicy. I had chicken fajitas, and my plate was overflowing with tasty strips of chicken, peppers, onions, beans, etc. Lots of tortillas, and generous bowls of garnishes, too. Enough for a meal, and a couple of lunches from the take home. For dessert we split a slice of cake, which was tasty but a little dry. All in all, the restaurant itself is very attractive, with a lively atmosphere, and the food quality was high, but timing and delays take away some of the enjoyment of the experience.
Pros: Good food, lively atmosphere
Cons: Extreme service delays, kitchen staff not able to keep up?
