BEWARE! DO NOT use your bank/debit/cash card to pay for your meal. They will charge you twice! I paid for 6 family members meals and first they withdrew the amount + tip from my checking account. Then they withdrew just the amount of the meal. When I called to let them know that 2 withdrawls had been made instead of one, and asked why, they said it was ""normal policy"". And one of the amounts is ""pending"". I guess it's assurance they get their money? It's a good thing that my checking account had money in it to cover both amounts. If someones checking account balance was low they would have had overdrafts. When I asked what would have happened if I had overdrafts and checking fees, would they (Old Chicago) have covered my overdrafts they said ""no"". I called my bank to check if the second amount was pending, they said no, it was one transaction gone through twice with two different amounts. Regardless, after 3 phone calls, speaking with 2 different managers, and 2-1/2 weeks, I finally was reimbursed the amount of the meal. Not even so much as ""sorry for your inconvenience"", nothing. This all being said, the food was OK. Nothing to write home about! I will NEVER return to this restaurant. I could see if it was a mistake on the transaction, and they apologized, but this is their policy. It is not ""pending"" - it happens twice! And the managers acted like it was my fault!!
