We went with Ohio State Waterproofing for our basement waterproofing job simply because of their name and reputation. Once we met with the consultant, we were impressed with the customer service as well, and the level of the quality of the work was just as impressive. The team was in and out of our house as quickly as promised, and although our house is 70+yrs old, our basement feels BRAND NEW. Love the dehumidifier as well (ez breathe system). Within a year after moving into my home ( 1984 ) it became apparent that paint on basement walls had covered up water problems we were not made aware of. We called Ohio State Waterproofing, within a few days we had a rep come to our home access the problems ,were given a estimate and date work could be started. The servicemen came with a few days and completed all work efficiency and clean up was amazing. All these years ,we have had one problem one of our dogs chewed on the cord to the sump pump. We called a service rep was out the next day and replaced cord. With the waterproofing we were able to refinished our basement into a lovely rec room and enjoyable laundry room. My peace of mind knowing I have clean and dry basement walls and sump pump if needed is very comforting , I also appreciate the yearly warranty service and this year spoke with Stacy. We had our basement waterproofing completed by Ohio state waterproofing 10+ years ago. Our basement was horrible...water, black mold on the walls and the smell....now you would never know that those issues ever existed! We spend more time in our basement watching tv then we do in our living room. We also purchased the warranty which was a great investment....NO we did not have any water issues but when our sump pump stopped working they came right out & replaced it....and YES we then purchased a battery back-up for our pump from Ohio state. At least now when we get tons of rain fall and the power goes out.....WE HAVE A DRY BASEMENT...WORRY FREE! more

I had my basement waterproof by Ohio State Waterproofing about 5 years ago and I just want to say that I have not had a drop of water or that musty smell since! The easy breathe they installed is also awesome! My original problem with the basement was water coming in from each front corner of my house when there was a heavy rain. I avoided placing any carpet down there due to the water issue and then the smell. It was a complete waste of space and none of my kids wanted to go down there. I could spray all the smelly stuff I wanted and it just wasn't anywhere anyone wanted to be. But I thought about waterproofing and just had aweful visions of my entire yard dug up, mud everywhere and then the landscaping and decking. UGH. I did not want to go through that! But, with 4 kids I needed the extra space! I needed them to have somewhere to hang out. I finally was sick of it and made one call to Ohio State Waterproofing. They were in and out in 3 days!! All the work was completed inside. No mud, no construction zone and the outside of my home was intact. A full crew arrived each day and they were on a mission! So much work in so little time to give me a dry basement. I was able to put carpet down there, my kids are in the basement all the time. My daughter comes home from college and has a place to have friends over and not be embarrassed by the smell. And I don't freak out anymore when it rains because I know my basement is dry. We purchased our house in 2012 and transferring the warranty from the previous owner to myself was super easy. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We recently had service done to our sump pump and the gentleman was prompt and professional. Within a day of calling to report our issue they were out, it was fixed and it has been functioning as if it were brand new!!! I would highly recommend ohio state waterproofing to everyone. more

Overall, we had a good experience with Ohio State Waterproofing. Our salesman, Ben, was friendly and informative. He took us through the basement and around the house to describe the process of what would need to be done. He then sat with us to further explain our options and answer any questions that we had. On the day of construction, Larry, the foreman, and I walked through the basement and he described what his crew would be doing that day. He was very friendly and was considerate of my young daughter who was home throughout the construction, as were each of the workers that I spoke to during the day. At the end of the day Larry took me back through the basement and around the house to show me the work that had been done and what they would be doing the next day. He also left his phone number so that my husband could call him later that night if he had any questions since he was not home during the day, we both appreciated this very much. The workers did remove the door to the basement and the door coming in the house from the garage. This was not a big deal, as I’m sure it makes the job a lot easier and they were put back up at the end of the day; however I didn't know they were off until I came downstairs and we have two cats that could have gotten into everything in the basement or could have gone outside. I was able to get the cats and close them into a room upstairs, but it may be helpful if the crew asked about pets beforehand. The second day went as smoothly as the first. We were pleased with the workmanship. The crew was hard working, on time every day and started work immediately. They were polite and knowledgeable and answered all our questions as the job proceeded. It was a big dirty job in cold weather. They cleaned up when they left each day. I know I have some painting to do now but they assured me if anything has to be done they will come back at no cost. more

High pressured reps. Felt intimidated to sign immediately, but took our time anyways. Foreman and crew went above and beyond to answer any questions, were ALWAYS on time, and worked their butts off! Approached referred jobs in my area, and did see one of the basements. Do call/meet with the people with whom you are referred. My work is about 15 years old. Have had to replace pumps now and again, got service TIMELY, like 7:30 am even! They have it down. signed, no wet-vac in westlake. more
