Oby's is one of Starkville's many sandwich shops. They stand out a bit from the rest due to variety and atmosphere.
Oby's has a choice of many southern and creole sandwiches, including Muffaletta, gator, oyster, and shrimp po-boys. Also, they have delicious salads and baked potatoes on the menu.
Their prices are OK but they seem to rise every time I visit. My husband and I used to eat there for $10-12. Lately it costs us closer to $25. To me that's a bit much for a sandwich in a small town.
Atmosphere here is nice. They have a fun decorating scheme of antiques and old pictures of the area. They also have take out available.
