When I go into the Oak Park community Center I feel like I am not welcomed. Several of the staff members that I have talked to made me feel like I was annoying them for just asking questions. The staff seemed more interseted in talking with each other and other people that are black and not any body that was of any other race. \r
The art work was on the outside of the building seems to emphasis only on black people of diffearnt culture and then as a second thought they put in a few paintings of hispanics, hmong and white people. I understand taking pride in black culture but do they have to do it at the price of every one else?\r
I am not trying to say they are bigoted, but they make me feel that they are with there attitude and they way they treated me and the other people that I have seen interacting with the people in there.
Cons: The staff make you feel like you don't belong.
