After I moved out I received my deposit with a charge of $50.00 for a queen mattress that they assumed I left outside.
I do not even own a queen mattress, nor did I leave anything of mine behind when I moved. I called Misty Walker, the on-site manager, to explain the mistake they had made. She said, ""How am I supposed to know if you did not leave that mattress behind?""
There was nothing that she could do, because at Oak Grove Properties, tenants are guilty until proven innocent. I bet she charged every damn one of us that moved that day (which there were many) for that one mattress. Because how is she supposed to know if they didn't leave it?
