great airport 6/20/2006

O'hare is not only Chicago's biggest airport, but it is one of the biggest airports in the nation. I think this airport is nice, but is still in need of a good amount of renovations. There are some parts of the airport, like the boarding areas, that are really nice and have been renovated very well. But still there are other parts that are stilll in need of some work. I have seen that the workers here are pretty rigorous in terms of security checks and I am pretty satisfied to see that. I have seen many airports thus far in my life and I would have to give O'hare a good rating as it is one of the best for sure. more

Chicago Airport 5/31/2006

O'Hare Airport is real nice. It is always busy. The airport is really big and there are always flights coming in and leaving. The airport is real nicely designed. I like how it looks from the outside and inside. I always take my flights from here. I like this ariport much better than the Midway Airport in Chicago. It feels much safer and the flights they offer here are much better. The parking here is very convenient. However, you do get charged for the time you park. It is not too much if you are going to be there for a few hours to drop or pick someone up. more

Our Airport 5/24/2006

O'hare International Airport is a staple to Chicago. It's something that you often hate, but something you can not live without. You hate the delayed flights, traffic, and long check-in lines. But you have to love the organized airport, with great parking structures and tons of flights going in and out everday. I have to give O'hare that it has been getting better over time. The airport has improved over the years and flying is becoming more and more seamless by the day. I also can't complain about their nice food court. I always utilize that while I'm waiting for a flight. more

Where Do I begin 5/24/2006

How to review an airport, huh. Well, first off this is one of the world's busiest and most poplular airports. It's also one of the the largest airports in the world. It's property is so big that parts of it are in Schiller Park, Rosemont, Chicago, & Elk Grove Village. The moving sidewalk here always amused me as does the monirail they added a few years back that takes you around between gates. Allow plenty of time before your flight departs and expect delays, but the delays are nothing like in N.Y. City. more

Great Airport 4/8/2006

O'hare is a great airport in Chicago. It is always busy here because there are many flights going in and out throughout the day. So, your choices of flights at this airport are many and easy to find. The airport is really well situated too, with lots of inexpensive short term parking and a decent layout. And you can even use their convenient little area where you can just quickly unload and drop somebody off if you are not interested in parking and staying. The airport is well organized and they keep it clean and looking pretty all the time. It's pretty easy to access to, which is great! more

ohare 4/8/2006

Normally I fly out of Midway, but I was unable to get a flight out of there and had to turn to O'hare. It wasn't that bad navigating through the terminals and my flight out wasn't bad at all. However, when I returned from my trip; that's when the madness began. The baggage area is under construction and people are just EVERYWHERE. Furthermore, I was directed to the wrong baggage claim number and wandered around trying to spot people from my plane. Thankfully that method did work, but our conveyor belt wasn't functioning properly and it was not a smooth procedure. I couldn't wait to get out of there! Which posed another problem, the pick-up drive was so backed up with tons of cars. It was unbelievable! more

Windy City's Best Airport 1/16/2006

As a Chicagoan and a frequent business traveler, I prefer O'Hare to Midway. They have more in terms of shops and restaurants. They seem "neater and cleaner" than Midway. They are definitely in a better part of town. But get there when it is suggested to get there - a coupla hours before your flight. They are big and they are busy. more

Great airport 9/3/2005

I almost always choose O'Hare to fly from when traveling. It's an enromous airport and it has all kinds of stores and restaurants available inside while you wait. You can also join travel clubs with certain airports like American Airlines and with membership you can wait in a really nice place with places to shower, iron clothes etc. and watch TV. The personnel working there is also pretty nice. not a lot of hassle. more
