I have been very disappointed by my experience with Nystrom & Associates. Their customer service is very poor and impersonal, which is surprising since they treat mental health issues. They are way overpriced and extremely inflexible. I've never had such poor service at any healthcare facility before. I gave my insurance information over the phone to two different people, and when I came in for my appointment they still didn't have the information in their system. The receptionist took a great deal of time searching the computer, copying my card and entering my information, and then after all of that, told me that there wouldn't be time for me to have my appointment and I'd have to come back another time. They charged over $100 for a missed appointment, and over $200 for a 20 minute appointment with a nurse. When I had been there previously, they took a blood sample from me in their ""lab,"" which was just a chair in a regular office that did not appear to be a sterile environment. Also, they charged over $600 for the initial intake appointment, which lasted less than half an hour after I filled out a massive questionnaire that was barely looked at by the nurse. \r
Overall, my experience with Nystrom & Associates has been extremely negative, and I would recommend that people look around for a more professional doctor or clinic rather than going here. I will never go back.
