Well, not really, but this place does make the strongest drinks in town. If you are trying to add a lot of spice to your evening, definitely go with a mixed drink like a whiskey and coke instead of shots in order to get the most bang for your buck. Personally, I prefer this bar on the evening on the weekdays as opposed to a weekend night. They have a jukebox which usually has a good mix of indie music, classic rock, new wave, and then some. On weekends, they have dancing, but the music they play is more of what you get at any other bar (new mainstream rap and dance techno) which I don't really care for. But for dancing, this is still less cheezy than most other places, aka a little less like "Girls Gone Wild." My recommendation would be to spend the evening at a bar that doesn't charge a cover (like Mulligans) then head to Neurolux after 1 for one last drink and dancing sans cover charges!
