I have had the pleasure of eating at this small family restaurant a number of times. The food is consistently delicious. I am always interested in out-of-the-way, rustic eateries. This place is a great example. The food is flavorful and the wait staff is friendly. They are always willing to explain the dishes in detail. I have had appetizers, main dishes and beverages. The appetizer, Chorros A La Criolla, is a spicy dish of mussels with onions, cilantro and tomato. A few of my favorite main dishes are: Jalea De Pescado, fried snapper, shrimp and squid; Arroz Con Marsicos, Peruvian paella with whole red shrimp and mussels; and, Aji De Gallina (a special dish) with chicken, hard boiled egg and rice. These dishes are accompanied by spicy, flavorful sauces that bring your taste buds alive. If not imbibing in alcohol I enjoy the Chicha Morada., a purple corn drink that you can order by the pitcher. If you're game for a culinary adventure you should try this place.
Pros: Friendly and informative wait staff, and great food.
Cons: Parking can be limited.
