TAKE EVERYONE'S ADVICE and do not live here. The only thing this apartment has going for it is it's proximity to stores like Walmart and Frys. The shuttle system is terrible and very inconsistent. Make sure you have a car to avoid the headache. And if you do have a car make sure that you keep a close eye on it. Security is a joke and cars are constantly being broken into or having the tires slashed. BELIEVE EVERYONE'S reviews because they are true. (except for the only positive review on this page WHICH I might add was written by a student employee for Northpointe hahaha) Hey Northpointe, how about you stop wasting money on free food and beer and start spending it on stuff that matters like security and updated apartments. more

Don't let the model rooms fool you, these apartments are dirty and run-down. They told us the move-in date was so late because they were going to ""deep clean"" our apartments, but that definitely was not the case. My apartment had coal burns on the furniture and the floor with an unflushed toilet, and my friend found fossilized feces under her fridge. The area seems nice, but it is actually pretty unsafe. I have heard multiple gunshots outside my apartment on a monthly basis. There is also a lot of theft. The wi-fi is horrible. I have literally never had a good experience with it. It would go out frequently, and if it worked, it would be incredibly slow. Management would have the internet company come into our apartments weekly to check on the router and claim it was ""fixed,"" but it never was and it was extremely inconvenient to have them come into our apartment so often. Management is also a mess. It takes weeks for maintenance to come fix big problems (although maintenance is full of nice people, that doesn't help). On top of all this they are charging me $80 for my apartment having a dirty bathtub, which was stained black when I got it and I couldn't do anything about it. I called and asked to talk to management about it and they said they would return a call, instead they sent a debt collector. It has been a very frustrating experience living here, and it still is a thorn in my side even when I'm not there. more

Don't plan on getting your full refund of your security deposit back! They make up stuff and charge all the students in the apartment for it! Maintenance is shady and lie for the company when it comes to deductions on your security deposit refund check! I am the mother of a student that lived 1 school year here and I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE! It looks very nice on the outside/grounds/pool/etc.....but apartments are a whole different story. Stay away from NorthPointe Student Apartments in Tucson, Az. more

Northpointe got new management this year and they are amazing! I have already renewed my lease and am super excited for next year. In a few short months they have redone the pool, gym, and lounge. They are also doing their best to update every apartment here. They have multiple fun free events each month like free food and even water slides! The office staff are really nice and helpful and the managers actually want to talk to the residents. Plus this is the only apartments that I know of that have a large grass field as well as tennis, basketball, and volley ball quarts. Would totally recommend this place to anyone! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/15/2012

DON?T EVEN CONSIDER LIVING HERE! It is an aging complex with a major crime problem. The new owners are spending $51.000 on rebuilding the pool when the resident rooms are nothing more than deteriorating slums. In the past few months, a sexual assault occurred on site and one night in November tires were slashed on more than 20 vehicles. One of the shuttles to campus is 15-year-old wreck of a school bus! Most of the residents are international students who never mingle. The new owners will bully you every chance they get. THIS PLACE IS A DANGEROUS DUMP! more

I currently live at Northpointe and I'm telling you, don't live here. The office is very unhelpful. They leave you rooms that have several problems (rooms that should have been fixed before you moved in). You aren't allowed to move in until the end of August, yet you are required to pay for the entire month of August. They do routine ""inspections"" of your apartment, which is such an invasion of privacy. Worst place to live. more

If you live here there is only 1 choice for internet and its too slow to watch a youtube clip or play a game or view anything. dont live here untill they get rid of pavlov media as their internet provider. Don't Rent From These Apartments 3/15/2011

I currently reside at NorthPointe and other than the shuttle its terrible management and Sercurity that just sits around, My car got broken into twice within the same week and it was first time in broad day light and the other time was at around 3am. And the suspect so stupid left there phone in my car and came back to get but got caught and run . so i'm warning any student that thinks about renting at NorthPointe trust me when i say its not worth it , its very unsafe. more

Terrible place to live 12/19/2009

The maintenance people never come to the apartment multiple times i have had to fix my apartment myself. It is not a safe place to live drunk students have crashed into at least 6 cars and totaled them this year with other smaller incidents, my car was hit. Northpoint does not have security or cameras to deter these actions and even though they are negelante claim that they are not responsible. The manager is a mean woman who is unhappy with her life and takes it out on the people who have complaints about her complex. if i could give it a raiting of 0 i would Pros: The gym is half decent Cons: the apartments are not maintained, not safe, mean manager more
