I've used Dr. Goodroad for all of my pets and I must say, he is absolutely the greatest! I recently moved 3 hours away and had to change vets. I'm regretting this very much so. My new cat went in to be declawed (with laser) and it ended up costing me $500!!! But the expenses didn't stop there...his paws became infected which cost me another $200! After all the pain he went through and the money i spent, it would have been better to just drive back up to Rhinelander and have it done by a vet I know and trust. From now on, I'm driving the 3 hours just to ensure my pets get the best care possible. more

Dr. Goodroad is the best! 10/19/2009

Dr. Goodroad is so caring and you can tell he is in it for the animals. I had to have my dog euthanized on a late Friday night and he never made me feel I was taking up his time or wrecking his weekend. He let me have the time I needed to say goodbye and was very gentle with my dog. I plan to return there when I am ready for another dog. more

Dr. Goodroad is fabulous! 11/10/2008

Dr. Goodroad is very talented and caring. He's saved both my dogs lives... one had Blastomycosis and the other one has been plagued by numerous health problems. He's amazing. He researches everything thoroughly, and is very committed to his clients. He is always very kind and accomodating. And patient... very, very patient. more

We have taken all of our pets to Northern Paws for years and completely trust Dr. Goodroad with our furry family members. He is very thorough and explains everything he is going to do as well as options available for their care.\r \r He is very kind, calm, friendly and patient towards both human and animal customers.\r \r Our pets have never acted scared there. They can feel the calmness in both the vet and the techs.\r \r You can tell that Dr. Goodroad truly loves animals! more
