I have recently brought my cat that is 13 years old to the clinic. I love her very much and she is my baby. I was looking for a local veterinarian after recently moving here. After waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes for our appointment, Dr. Miller finally arrived, and did an exam. My cat is becoming arthritic, and has few teeth left, and is showing her age. I was told that she was in a desperate need of a teeth cleaning, and that she had an abcess, (which following 2 seperate opinions is not true, she has irritation on the gum below one of her teeth, which is being treated) I was told she must be in terrible pain, and how terrible that was for her. After wanting to crawl under a table, I was then told that she needed full xrays, a geriatric workup, and full cardiac workup, and to be checked for glaucoma, and if all results are fine, she needs a dental cleaning. I was then told that someone would be in to discuss the cost. A woman that half scared me came in named Michelle, she made me feel like garbage when I told her that I could not pay the $1200.00 that they wanted that day for the "tests" I ended up paying $405.00, just for the first basic test. As I was waiting in the lobby a woman was picking up her cat that had a dental and she paid $800.00. A few days later Dr. Miller called me and told me the results were fine, but she wanted to run another test from serum left over, and that someone would be calling me to get the additional payment! I sure did get that call right away about my payment, but I refused to pay until I was sure the test was able to be run, so after numerous calls to the clinic, I have yet to get those results. These people have a nice office, and a cushy lobby, but at the pet owners great expense. If you want a guilt trip, and to feel like you are a bad parent to your cat, this is the place to go. The bottom line here is definetly MONEY!!!!!!
Pros: Good cappuccino
Cons: the entire experience
